Balance & Forces is a 24-page IdeaSteps coloring and activity book built around one named idea: balance as equal sides, the picture idea behind the equal sign and balanced pulls. Four stations take one picture at a time: teams on a rope, equal sides on a scale, predicting which basket is heavier, and making an unequal scale balance by adding or taking away.
